Cergomma srl is located in the ceramic manifacturing district of Sassuolo
And is producing rubber compounds for over 40 years.

In 1999 the company changed its name from “Gallingani Gomma srl” into “Cergomma srl” iIn line with the decision of the new board of directors to dedicate the company’s production exclusively to rubber sheets for the application on ceramic tile punches.
This enabled Cergomma to commits its energies even further to the product, with total control on the production and extremely versatile service.

The production is mainly based on what we know as “traditional rubber”,
Which has to be stored in freezer, cergomma’s item code CER 01.
This rubber is based on polyester urethane (AU) and it is characterized
As high hardness range and mechanical strenght and elasticity.
These characteristics are very important on punch application as high abrasion resistence means long life of the product and high elasticity means excellent releasing effect while pressing the clay during the tile production.
This rubber is used by all the die shops since more than 40 years and it is available from 75 up to 100 shore A hardness, in many colours.

As well as the “traditional rubber”, CER01, Cergomma produces a special long life rubber, which has been developed by the company exclusively for
Pressing isostatic punches.
The main feature of this rubber, stored in normal conditions at room temperature, is its extreme softness: if correctly applied it allows moulding
of a 30x30 isostatic punch with approx.60 bar pressure (280 t press).
