Pressing temperature: 125/128°C, both the upper and the lower press plates.
Vulcanization time: 12/15 minutes for normal punches, pressed with 90, 95 and 98/100 shore rubber and about 30 minutes for isostatic punches, pressed with 80 and 85 shore rubber.
There are two reasons why the time has to be little longer for pressing isostatic punches compared to normal punches:
-the rubber it is softer in terms of shore A so the quantity of the “active” raw materials is smaller and the rubber is less reactive
-on isostatic punches the vulcanized rubber quantity (the remaining layer) is higher if compared to the normal punches.
Bigger rubber quantity means longer time to get proper vulcanization and complete cross-linking of the rubber layer .
Traditional frozen rubber, CER 01 ULTRASOFT
The temperature is the same as for the CER01 (125/128°C) but time has to be of increased of 10 minutes than CER01 and based on the pressing product (if you press normal punch or isostatic punch…).
Long Life rubber, CER 03/C
Has to be pressed at effective 140°C, the vulcanization time is 35 minutes, also on normal punches.

pressing temperature: 140°C and the time is 15 minutes on low vulcanized rubber thickness, to be extended on higher rubber thickness.
For the press plate’s temperature we always recommend our customers to check it with a digital thermometer as the one stated on the press’ display often isn’t accurate.
